Nirmay brings the architectural foundation to HS Desiigns, grounding the studio’s design language in clarity, structure, and thoughtful spatial planning. With over two decades of experience, he has developed a keen understanding of how scale, proportion, and detail work together to create spaces that feel intuitive and enduring. His experience across diverse typologies allows him to approach every site with perspective, precision, and purpose.

His passion for architecture began in childhood, inspired by watching his own home being designed — an experience that sparked a deep interest in how thoughtfully crafted spaces influence everyday living.

At HS Desiigns, Nirmay plays a pivotal role in weaving architecture and interiors into one unified narrative — creating environments that are contextually grounded, beautifully resolved, and built to stand the test of time.

Over the past 11 years, he has played a pivotal role in uniting multiple disciplines into a cohesive workflow that defines our signature process for luxury interior design.

Deeply involved in every stage of the studio’s operations, Malay oversees project management, coordination, and on-site execution across regions in India — ensuring every project reaches its full potential. His people-first approach, clarity in communication, and practical insight make him integral to the studio’s success.
